Tom Paine Printing Press

The Tom Paine Printing Press and Gallery is run by Peter Chasseaud at 151 High Street, Lewes. This is the shop from which Sussex Lustreware launched in the autumn of 2018.

National Gallery

In May 2025 the Sainsbury Wing of the National Gallery reopened after two years closure for redevelopment and rehanging as part of the Gallery’s bicentenary celebrations. We were asked to make a special jug and a new mug ‘for an art lover’. These and other mugs are now stocked in the Sainsbury Wing shop on Trafalgar Square.

Pentreath & Hall

Pentreath & Hall in Bloomsbury, London, is owned by Ben Pentreath and Bridie Hall. We were kindly given space for a pop-up adjacent to the main shop for two weeks in the spring of 2022 and again in 2023.

We now supply Pentreath & Hall on an occasional basis, and have also made a jug specially for the shop.

Persephone Books

This jug, designed in collaboration with Nicola Beauman, the owner of this special publishing house with a cult following, is available exclusively from their shop at 8 Edgar Buildings, Bath.

Two Temple Place

We were asked to supply the shop at Two Temple Place, on London’s Embankment, for their 2020 exhibition.

‘Unbound: visionary women collecting textiles’ celebrated the pioneering work of seven women, showcasing artefacts from galleries and museums across the country in this magnificent venue. Our designs were inspired by the work of Enid Marx, one of the featured collectors.

Both her design work and the folk art she collected with Margaret Lambert, which included examples of 19th century lustre ware, were exhibited, on loan from their permanent home at Compton Verney.
